Trainees-exchange between Marquardt and ODU
Rietheim-Weilheim/Mühldorf, 19th October 2013 – The traditional trainees-exchange between Marquardt and the company ODU in Mühldorf took place for the second time this year. Both trainees from the third year of training, Jonathan Asal (tool engineering technician) and Marius Berger (technical product designer) gained insight into the departments: Tool design and construction, Press shop, Construction, Paint shop and Turnery, during their stay at ODU. Both trainees worked for their projects – a bench vise and a hydraulic lever.
The diversified leisure program consisted in a visit to Oktoberfest, a trip to therm Erding, go-cart drive, bowling, football golf, as well as climbing at the high rope course. The exchange enabled both Marquardt trainees establish new contacts and gather lots of impressions and experience.
In return, two trainees from ODU GmbH visited us. Bernd Wastlhuber (technical product designer) worked in the development department and Raphael Eggs (machinist) in the special machine manufacturing department. They were also offered an eventful general program, like for example a visit to IAA Frankfurt and to the bathing paradise Schwarzwald.
